What specific technologies did you learn about this semester that you think will be valuable in your future classroom (or other place of employment)?

The technology I learned the most from was Notebook. I really enjoyed using it! I had so much fun trying to make fun games for my students. I am a firm believer that if you make anything fun enough you can get almost any kid interested. This will help me in the future because I can make fun and interactive games with my students!

  1. Even though I may have been reluctant at first, I agree that Notebook actually did turn out to be a good tool.

  2. The notebook lesson was actually pretty fun to do. I was reluctant at first too. I hated trying to make one but after it was finished and I got to present it, I was so impressed with how it turned out. I really hope to have a SMART board in my classroom when I start teaching. One cool thing to look into though in case you do not end up with a SMART board is Prezi. They have cool PowerPoints and they are free. It just amps up the presentations a little bit instead of plain PowerPoint presentations all the time, just something to think about. You could Google Prezi too.

  3. I definitely agree with you on this. The best way to help students learn is to provide them with a way to learn and have fun at the same time.

  4. I think involving fun things in the classroom helps the kids get excited, and also if you are excited about the lesson and activity then the kids more than likely will too! Great thoughts!
